Some (apparently not well known) Etiquette Ranting

So apparently it is just me and my husband, who were taught not to call other people (OTHER than FAMILY or very close friends) before 10 AM or even 11 AM.

I have this person, who for the life of me, I cannot understand why she feels the need to call me at the most irritating times of the day to ask me some of the most inane questions. Like really?! You needed to call me at 9 AM on a Tuesday just to see if I had a good trip visiting my parents? Especially since there is picture evidence and facebook statuses that would tell you that. Sorry not worth my time, or my SLEEP!!!! Now I realize your kiddo is only a few months older than mine... but mine stays up later than yours and therefore also sleeps in later than yours!!! So at 9 AM when you have been awake for two hours, I'm still quite happily asleep on most mornings. I do NOT appreciate hearing my phone go off for you to ramble on about absolutely NOTHING!!! That time is set aside for sleeping and receiving important phone calls.

On another note, when you talk to someone and you are asking questions and being more nosy than the average acquaintance, give the person you are talking to at least a smidgen of respect by actually letting that person a chance to answer your questions. I mean seriously. TAKE A BREATH! Personally, I'm a slow to warm up personality, meaning unless I actually feel comfortable around you, I find it very difficult to converse with you. Not talk, converse. As in have a conversation. I can say "Hi" or "How are you?" and leave it at that. But if you are looking for something more, give me a chance to put my thoughts together as I gauge how you will take my opinion. Hence the reason I am writing this and sending it to the cosmos on the interwebs.

I'm sure I have other things I'd like to address, but my minion is asleep and I'm ready for sleep too.
