Overachiever Much??? Proud Mommy

So yesterday was my minion's 5 month birthday. It was also the day that I first felt the tip of her first tooth poking out of her gums. And I'm thinking, "YOU'RE TOO YOUNG FOR TEETH!!!!" haha.

As a new mom, I've been told countless times that even though she started teething at 2.5 months old that it would be months and months before a tooth actually sprouted in her mouth. Well, it only took 2.5 months for one to say "Hello, world!" I'm excited because it's a milestone and it's fun to see her reach them. But I'm also not so excited because she's been biting me... a lot, and nursing a teething baby is no fun!

But the overachieving doesn't stop there... she can sit without toppling over for extended periods of time now, picks toys up with decent accuracy, babbles incessantly, rolls from her back to her tummy, and has been holding her head up pretty much since she was a month old. Oh, yeah, and she's trying to crawl and bears her weight on her legs quite well. If it weren't for the whole balancing thing she would be walking. Thank goodness she isn't yet! :)
