WHAT?! Already?!

So, as of last week, my daughter, that adorable cupcake of cuteness, has been CRAWLING. Yep, she's only 6 months old, but she decided she needed to be mobile. I have to admit though, it's pretty entertaining watching her creep around our apartment. We haven't completely babyproofed yet. So I'm never more than an arm's reach away from her. She is just starting to let me not be right next to her so I can get things done now that she can move around on her own. She crawls a bit, turns around and looks at me and gives me the cutest grin ever. It more than makes up for when she flips out on me for trying to go to the bathroom and not holding her. Sometimes I feel slightly overwhelmed that she's already this old and getting so big, but it's more exciting than anything. So bring on the babyproofing materials! :)

No Sick Days for Mommy

I woke up with a sore throat this morning. All I want to do is sleep. Too bad the hubby works and the Minion can't help herself. So I'm sitting here trying to relax and not be cranky, because really her neediness isn't her fault. So I just need to chill and smile and snuggle my Minion. And hopefully, she'll have a really good day of non-cranky-ness and no teething pain since tooth number two is working it's way out. Oh, and my hubby was so kind this morning at 5:30 when I woke up in utter pain and asked for a cup of tea. He got it for me and didn't complain and told me to try to rest. Which is pretty good for waking up out of a deep sleep for him. :) I love him. And I love my Minion, she's currently cooing next to me.
